My Surface dock has been having some issues with charging lately, and one of the suggestions was to remove all USB peripherals and then use a powered USB hub instead.
So I got one through work, and though it hasn't made a difference to the charging issues, it is nice to have lots of USB ports, plus a high powered charging port that can be switched on and off for my phone.
Hasn't made my desk seem any tidier, but it feels more organised to me.
