9 Years ago, I became a published author.
Ok, So I admit, it was self-published. Internet Publisher. 1 Hardcopy of each book.
The first was a book of poems and various other verses I had written for Leah over the years. It was a colorful, poetic journey through our life to that point, called “Pocketful of Love”. I loved it then, and looking at the PDF file I found on my computer, I still love it now.
The second book, was quite to opposite. That same year, I had taken on a 10 minute writing challenge from a forum, where a daily topic was posted, and you had 10 minutes to quickly write a very short story about that topic.
I wrote plenty more than were published in my little book, but the ones in the book I thought were the best of them. And of course, for the book, they got cleaned up, and more than 10 minutes work went into each to ‘polish’ them a bit. Looking back now, they could have done with more polish for sure. I called it (quite imaginatively I thought) “Ten Minutes”
A few years later I also had a further repertoire of short stories that I also began to format to publish, but they never quite got there. Again with the very imaginative name of “Ten Minutes More”. You can see the exceptional effort I put into the cover for this one!
Anyway, the upshot of all this is, I have been published, I have completed a third book, but not published it, and today whilst cleaning out my Hard Drive, I found them all.
And for your reading pleasure (and in because its 2016, and because, well… I can) spare yourself 20 minutes, and let me know what you think of
